Tuition
Tuition is based on techniques detailed in the police drivers handbook 'Roadcraft'.
Advanced driving is the ability to look, think and plan well ahead, whilst controlling the position and speed of your vehicle with skill and responsibility.
This high standard of driving competence requires concentration, effective all-round observation, anticipation and planning, co-ordinated with good handling skills. A little guidance, commitment and practice, safer & better driving skills are within every drivers grasp.
All tests are optional, and we would encourage those simply wishing to improve their driving skills, boost their confidence or to better their enjoyment of driving to come along.
We are always looking for group tutors to pass on their knowledge to our associates. This is an extremely rewarding role, aiding others to progress through the same tuition and test you will have experienced. The group would provide full support to become a RoSPA Approved Tutor.
Initial Assesment
On attending your first session you will be invited for a drive to assess your current standard with one of our tutors, this is very informal and gives you a chance to ask any questions you may have.
Tuition
Each session you will be allocated a tutor who will give you advice and guidance on techniques to improve various aspects of your driving
Assessments
Below are a few key points on the standard required for Module 1
